Projection Mapping is the use of video projectors to display images and video onto a 3-Dimensional or non-flat surface.

Projection Mapping provided for the Cloud 9 Lounge at the Grande Hall at Liberty Towers’ ribbon cutting. Using two projectors in the corners of the mezzanine level and the projection software, HeavyM, we were able to cover the pillars with clouds without covering the back wall as well. This added to the fog created on the level as well as dry-ice cocktails serves at the bar.

This project was my first attempt at projection mapping and my first time using the software, Heavy M. Using a projector directed at a trio of cardboard boxes, I combined Heavy M’s tempo-synced visual creations with my own video-feedback and glitch-art to create an immersive and colorful experience.
